PWAS in Saudi Arabia — Aramco-Approved Proximity Warning Systems
Saudi Aramco-approved PWAS for excavators, loaders, cranes, forklifts and trucks — supplied, installed, tested and handed over with operator training by our team in Dammam and across the Kingdom.
What is PWAS?
Collisions in the blind spots around heavy equipment are among the most serious accidents on any site. A Proximity Warning and Alert System (PWAS) watches the area around the machine and gives the operator and nearby workers staged audible and visual alarms when a person, vehicle or obstacle comes closer than the safe distance.
That is why Saudi Aramco and major contractors require an approved PWAS on heavy equipment working on their sites. We supply, install and test Aramco-approved PWAS on your equipment.

Frequently asked questions
What is PWAS?
PWAS (Proximity Warning and Alert System) warns the operator of heavy equipment — and the people around it — when a worker, vehicle or obstacle comes too close, with audible and visual alarms. It protects blind spots around excavators, loaders, cranes, forklifts and trucks.
Are your PWAS systems approved by Saudi Aramco?
Yes. The PWAS systems we supply and install are approved by Saudi Aramco.
What is the difference between tag-based and non-tag PWAS?
Tag-based systems detect workers who wear a personal tag, so the operator knows a person is near. Non-tag systems use radar or AI cameras to detect any person, vehicle or object without tags. A combo kit uses both.
Which PWAS should I choose for my equipment?
For sites where every worker carries a tag, a tag-based or combo kit is ideal. For mixed sites with visitors and vehicles, radar or AI-camera PWAS detects everything. Our engineer recommends the right system after checking your equipment and site — ask for a recommendation.
Do you install PWAS on site?
Yes. Our technicians install and test PWAS at our Dammam workshop or on your site anywhere in the Kingdom, and train your operators.
Can PWAS be combined with LMI and online monitoring?
Yes. PWAS alerts can be recorded and sent to our IoT monitoring platform together with LMI data, so safety managers see all events in one place.
